“Nearly every page offers something that will surprise or intrigue you. Read it! You’ll never see yourself or anyone else the same way again.” — Ray Kurzweil, Author of How to Create a Mind: The Secret of Human Thought Revealed
Ray Kurzweil is one of the most fascinating thinkers of our time. A scientists, inventor, futurist, entrepreneur, author, and outrageously successful at all of them. Don’t take my word for it, Google him. He’s won nearly every major technology award there is. In another time he’d be known as a Renaissance man. These days we just call him a polymath. Among his inventions, the electronic piano and optical character recognition software. His ideas about how the future may unfold are insightful and uncannily accurate.
I met Ray when I was working on my book with William Shatner about the technologies of Star Trek. I love the way his mind works. I remember when we arrived at a reception Ray was having at his offices, he introduced me and Bill to his mother and she said, “Have you met my son, the genius!” How right she was :-).
I am very grateful for his kind words for Last Ape Standing. He also wrote the foreward for the paperback edition of Thumbs, Toes and Tears.
